Codemotion Berlin meets Codemotion Rome
We would like to give you some impressions of our trip to Codemotion Rome. The conference took place from March 17 to March 19 and almost 2.000 visitors have found their way to the university facilities where the conference was held. Thanks to the kind invitation by our colleagues from Italy, Linda and Benni were able to join the conference.
The first day directly started off with two absolute highlights of the conference. Rebecca Parsons held her keynote “The evolution of evolutionary architecure” which was followed by Peter Gasstons‘ keynote “OK Computer”. Thereafter, 8 different university auditoriums were filled with a diversified mixture of students and professionals. Exemplary topics were React, Devops, Javascript, Node or Security. Check out their website and don’t miss the next edition – it’s absolutely worth it!
The second day kicked off with a keynote by Linda Rising about “Myths and Patterns of Organisational Change”. Subsequently Jessica Rose came up stage and gave her talk about the “Costs of the Cult of Expertise”. Great news, Jessica Rose will hold a different keynote on October 25 during Codemotion Berlin. Check out our “First speakers | Call for Papers | Super Early Bird Tickets”-article and get some further information on that.
Concluding, we were impressed by the enormous size of the conference and could get a better understanding what Codemotion really stands for. If you want to get that as well, please check out our interview with one of the Codemotion founders, Chiara Russo. Thanks once more for having us and see you all later this year at Codemotion Berlin. We are looking forward to it!
