{ Codemotion Berlin 2016 in a nutshell }
Time runs fast – only 2 weeks and Codemotion Berlin will finally open its doors at Kulturbrauerei Berlin. Tech talks, Get-Together, Community Stage? We want to bring some light in the dark and give you a summary of what you can expect from this year’s Codemotion Berlin.
The 1st conference day (Monday, October 24) kicks off with our keynote speaker Fred George. He has been writing code for over 46 years in (by his count) over 70 languages. His keynote “It’s not just microservices – Complementary and Necessary Support for MicroServices” is very likely to stimulate some fascinating discussions. Subsequently our program will start on 4 stages – the program of 3 stages has been selected by our wonderful program committee. In order to provide a platform for communities/meetups/Stammtische to share their ideas, there will be a separate community stage featuring more than 20 community talks. The feedback ahead of the conference has been great and we are more than excited to see if our little experiment turns out to be as great as we believe.
The regular conference program ends at 7 pm which is followed by a Get-Together taking place at Palais – lots of networking opportunities guaranteed. The Get-Together is complemented with a digital graffiti wall provided by our partner Urban Artists!
The second day of the conference is going to start with an experienced Codemotion speaker, Jessica Rose will hold her keynote with the title “The Costs of the cult of Expertise”. Thereafter the program will start on 4 stages once again with too many highlights to be mentioned here. You better have a look at the entire agenda and get your 2-day conference ticket right away, it’s only 165 €!
We are looking forward to welcoming you at Kulturbrauerei – stay tuned!
