Medical Doctor / Co-Founder - Hacking Health Berlin
After completing his medical studies in Marburg, Cape Town and Tokyo, Akira started his residency in geriatrics and cardiology. Today he works at the anesthesiology department of the Charité Universitätsmedizin. With his clinical perspective, Akira consults various players in healthcare, seeing digitalization as a great opportunity for doctors and patients. Investigating new solutions such as gamification of geriatric rehabilitation or smart patient management systems he is building up an expertise in digital health. Akira is a co-founder and leading organizer of Hacking Health Berlin.
